Questions and answers

What is RepLogo?

RepLogo is a free web tool that replaces a logo everywhere it appears in a PDF, Word (.docx) or PowerPoint (.pptx) file. You upload the document, click the old logo, add the new one, and the updated file downloads automatically.

Is RepLogo free?

Yes. RepLogo is free to use and you don't need an account. Upload a document and replace the logo right away.

Which file types can I use?

PDF (.pdf), Word (.docx) and PowerPoint (.pptx) files up to 25 MB. Older .doc and .ppt files aren't supported; save them as .docx or .pptx first.

What happens to my files?

Your document and logos are deleted as soon as processing finishes. The updated file is deleted shortly after you download it, and anything that isn't downloaded is deleted automatically, normally within an hour. See the privacy policy for details.

How does RepLogo find every copy of the logo?

It compares every image in your file with the logo you clicked and replaces the ones that look the same, including copies saved at a different size or compression.

Does the new logo keep its transparent background?

Yes, when the old logo was stored in a format that supports transparency, such as PNG. If the old logo was stored as a JPG, the new one is saved as a JPG too, which has no transparency.

Will the new logo be the same size as the old one?

The new logo takes the old logo's place and size. For the best result, use a new logo with a similar shape (width to height) to the old one.

What if my logo is text, not an image?

RepLogo replaces images only. If your logo is typed text or a drawn shape rather than an image, it won't appear in the list of images.
